Two Hub clients Tiffany Wood with Precision Syrups, and Amy Underwood of Health Elevated were selected to compete in the Michigan Women Forward Woman Up and Pitch event in March.
Michigan Women Forward’s WomanUp & Pitch Business Plan and Pitch Competition, sponsored by Consumers Energy Foundation and Huntington Bank, is a funding opportunity for Michigan women who want to start or grow an existing for-profit business. Businesses must be based in Michigan, for-profit and at least 51% woman-owned.
Winners in both the Startup Business and Established Business categories in the SW Michigan competitions were awarded:
- First place: $10,000
- Second place: $5,000
- Third place: $2,500
